I run a Kubota KX040 — a 5-ton excavator with a 6-way tilt blade and rubber tracks, just six feet wide. It’s equipped with 1' & 2' digging and 3' cleanout buckets, 3' root-rake, and 7' grading beam, and ability to rent 17gpm power attachments. 

This compact but capable machine is perfect for tight access work, trail cutting, and moderate hillside cuts and shaping — including clearing and prep for all your build sites. The enclosed cab lets me work year-round in all weather, and the fuel efficiency keeps operating costs low.
